My hometown is Suzhou, China.

In high school, I won first prize in the Jiangsu Provincial Mathematics Olympiad. That early curiosity about mathematics has stayed with me.

During college, I spent a great deal of time reading literature and history, and playing music.

These days, I enjoy exploring machine learning and mathematics—with a soft spot for intuition over writing proofs.

I serve as a bass in the choir at Tallahassee Chinese Christian Church.
